Personality profile: Funny, direct, confident, introverted.  What one word would your closest friend use to describe you? Generous.  How do you define a perfect friendship? Someone who supports you, laughs with you, cries with you; someone you can count on no matter what or when, always there for you.  How do you define an ideal business relationship? Respectful and collaborative.  What natural talent have you neglected? Indulging my creative side with art.  I have a full watercolour set and I’ve yet to open it.  What occupation, other than your own, do you most admire? Nursing.  What is your favorite place (or way) to spend money? I love to buy shoes from The Office of Angela Scott.  What ingredient is essential to your perfect vacation? A clear view of the ocean.

What was your favorite college course? Systems Analysis and Design.  What was your favorite childhood toy or game? Gin Rummy with my grandmother.  What’s prominently featured on your home or office wall? Original artist pencil drawing of the 5 emotions from the Disney movie “Inside Out”.  What’s the best advice you received growing up? Nobody ever said life was fair, so work hard for what you want.  What’s the best advice you received in your career? Nobody is worthless.  They can always serve as a horrible example.  What company or organization do you most admire? The Grateful Garment Project, which gives dignity to assault survivors.  What personal circumstance has had the greatest influence on your life? An ankle injury that caused me to cancel my business meeting on the 101st floor of One World Trade Center on 9/11.

What change are you working on to effect in your profession or field?

Sharing my knowledge of enablement freely with those who wish to better their skills in our chosen field.  

What change would you like to see in the world? More countries led by women.  What message do you want to send out into the world? It’s possible to manifest what is most important to you if you trust yourself.  What mega-trend most excites you? Companies finally investing in climate change advancements.  What mega-trend most concerns you? The reversal of hard-fought human rights, including women’s rights, LGBTQI+ rights and basic civil rights.

What title would you choose for the movie about your life? Buy The Shoes.  What actor would you choose to play you in the movie about your life? Kathy Bates.  As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? A fighter pilot.  After your loved ones, what object would you first save from your burning home? A 1917 tortoise shell fountain pen given to me by my wife. How would you choose to spend tomorrow, if you knew it was your last day on earth? Sitting at a large table with family and friends, eating wonderful food, drinking wonderful wine and telling stories.  What advice would you give your younger self? You’re stronger than you think.  What period in your life would you do differently, if you could? None.  Each and every experience has led to where I am today.
