I decided to be an attorney in the eighth grade after watching Brown vs. The Board of Education. What’s the best advice you received growing up? Do your best, ignore what everyone else is doing. What’s the best advice you received in your career? Find your boundary and hold it.
What is your big idea?
A walk-in booth that sprays sunscreen all over like self-tanning booths. Or, a business that combines pre-loss grief counseling, estate planning, and estate sale/clean-up for the sandwich generation.
What change would you like to see in the world? A social system that supports working families so that caregivers are not constantly juggling work, support care, time off, lost pay, benefits, time and attention to personal matters. What mega-trend most excites you? Inclusion in the workplace, in that it supports authenticity. What mega-trend most concerns you? Continued polarization of our political culture.
What title would you choose for the movie about your life? She Laughed While She Did It (Whatever It Was). What actor would you choose to play you in the movie about your life? Drew Barrymore. As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? A singer. How would you choose to spend tomorrow, if you knew it was your last day on earth? With my family, in nature.
