Personality profile: Passionate, committed, strategic.  What one word would your closest friend use to describe you? Thoughtful.  How do you define an ideal business relationship? Driven by purpose, mission and strategic alignment.  What is your greatest joy? Our three sons, Corbin, Gavin and Reid.  What occupation, other than your own, do you most admire? President of the United States.  How do you relieve stress? Exercising on my Peloton, my go-to workout. What ingredient is essential to your perfect vacation? Excellent and refreshing cocktails.

Sing 2, since our boys love it.  Who has had the greatest influence on your life? My mom and my late Oma.  What is the best advice you received growing up? Do what you’re best at and what you’re needed for.  What is the best advice you received in your career?   "Take a method and try it.  If it fails, admit it frankly and try another.  But above all, try something” (Franklin D. Roosevelt).  What is your favorite app? LinkedIn.  What is your go-to source of news and information? CNN.  What world event has had the greatest influence on your life? 9/11.  What company or organization do you most admire? Healthcare organizations that remain committed to authentic community engagement.

What change would you like to see in the world? Greater willingness to find common ground and to work together collaboratively for the betterment of humanity.  What message do you want to send out into the world? That positive change is possible when we work together for the common good.  What widely held belief do you reject? That there is no such thing as systemic racism.  There is, and we must call attention to it, in order to improve all aspects of our society.  What mega-trend most excites you? Future of Learning and Future of Work.

What actor would you choose to play you in the movie about your life? Martin Sheen.  Who would you like to spend an evening with, in Heaven? My dad, my brother, and my Oma.  As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? President.  What object would you save first from your burning home? A piece of the Berlin Wall, passed on to me from my late Oma.  What day in your life would you like to re-live? The birth of our sons.
