Teachers and police officers (not coincidentally, the former occupations of my parents). What is at the top of your bucket list? Completing my first marathon (scheduled for November 2022). How do you relieve stress? Golfing and laughing with my buddies at our country club, often over a drink or a cigar. What is your go-to workout? The CrossFit workout, “Grace”.
What was your first paying job? Stock boy at ShopRite supermarket. What movie have you repeatedly watched? I’ll watch Goodfellas or Casino every time it is on TV. What’s prominently featured on your home or office wall? My SHRM-CP certification. Besides your parents, who has had the greatest influence on your life? My wife. She makes me a better person every day. What’s the best advice you received growing up? Listen more than you talk. What’s the best advice you received in your career? Find people whom you admire and ask them how they got to where they are. What is your go-to source of news and information? Morning Brew and HR Brew newsletters. What is your go-to source of creative inspiration? I think best when I am out in nature. It helps to clear my mind and put things into perspective.

Who would you like to spend an evening with, in heaven? My grandparents. As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? An ESPN sports reporter and radio host. Actually, that was my first job after college. How would you choose to spend tomorrow, if you knew it was your last day on earth? With my family, outside, perhaps somewhere in the mountains. What advice would you give your younger self? Pursue growth in all aspects of your life. What day in your life would you choose to re-live? Our wedding day, surrounded by all our friends and family.
