What’s been your big (or biggest) leap? Buying an apartment in NYC and embarking on a gut renovation. Hobbies: Dance; salvaging and restoring antiques found in Dutchess County, NY. What is your go-to source of news and information? New York Times. What is your go-to source of creative inspiration? My barn. I set up a workshop to salvage furniture and it’s a great mind-clearing activity.
What is your big idea? I'm working on it. Too soon to share, but stay tuned! What change are you working on to effect in your profession or field? That nonprofits should operate on a shoestring budget. It's neither realistic, nor efficient, nor healthy for employees. Investing in your people and infrastructure ultimately makes donor dollars more efficient.
What title would you choose for the movie about your life? She Did What? As a kid, what did you first want to be when you grew up? A ballerina. What object would you first save from your burning home? My cat, Isadora Luna. What advice would you give your younger self? Don’t light yourself on fire to keep others warm.
