Alfredo is the Director of Philanthropy for the Bloch School ofManagement at the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC).
With degrees emphases in economic sociology, sociology of culture, and religious studies, Alfredo has dedicated his life to helping organizations adapt and grow. As the former Associate Executive Director of Miami City Ballet, Alfredo led the charge to implement the use of technology and data capture in fundraising efforts while supporting the cultivation of key individuals to the Board. At UMKC, Alfredo has been the head of fundraising and development efforts for the Bloch School, Kansas City’s business school, in coordination with corporate, civic, and community leaders.
Prior to his work in the nonprofit sphere, Alfredo taught courses in sociology and religious studies at Florida International University and the University of Miami. While conducting his graduate studies at Princeton University, Alfredo taught introductory sociology courses for credit in New Jersey state prisons to prison inmates.
